againLikes « Diana loves music, sports, swimming, singing, writing, and snow-boarding. She also loves romance novels, and serene environments. She really enjoys relaxation by the pool, as well as stealing quick naps in the odd hours of the day.
Dislikes « Diana doesn't like her peace being disturbed. She hates loud noises, and her naps being interrupted. She can't stand seafood, as well as coffee. Rain definitely doesn't rank high on her list either, and she hates spiders. She can't stand gum being smacked either, or gum really at all. Along with the package is a lot of yelling, unless it's an emergency. She cannot stand dogs either.
Strengths « Diana is very athletic and flexible, as well as good at handling small weapons, and hiding them.
Weaknesses « Diana sometimes rushes head-on into things, and she can get herself into trouble by saying a little too much. She is also an insomniac, and sometimes her sleeping-urges will kick in after she hasn't slept for a few days.
Fears « Diana fears being overpowered, and manipulated. She also has a fear of getting lost.
Habits « Diana has a strange habit of sleeping in the oddest of places, at the oddest of times. Of course, she won't fall asleep during a battle or anything as such, but she will happen to fall asleep with her head on a desk, or on someone's shoulder.
Goals « Diana just wants to learn new things. She wants to make friends with as many people as she can.
Lock Box « Diana has a dark secret locked away, and that's that she has a very vindictive side of her thoughts. She doesn't really think it's 'her', but it is a part of her. She hates it.
Overall Personality « Diana is, right off the bat, very friendly and optimistic. She radiates the self-confidence most people seem to lack in themselves. She has a somewhat vindictive side though, but she hides it away. Most anyone ever sees is the bright young girl. They never see the torn and broken side, nor the angry side of her. Those are things not even those closest to her have seen yet. She keeps it under tight lock and key, but certain things do trigger those sides of hers. She becomes very quiet and reserved after deaths and funerals, and can be extremely snappy also.
The full extent to her vindictive side, however, has yet to be seen. She sees it as her own personal demon that she must keep away so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. She tries to take everyone's feelings into consideration, but she rarely takes her own into that consideration. She'll do things that will likely endanger herself to save those around her. She has no care if she gets hurt, she's just really upset if her friends happen to. She has an odd look on relationships, and usually tries to avoid them for that reason. She doesn't really like when people try to shield her, and it makes her think they think she's weak.
The 'diabolical' side of her usually takes over when she is under extreme amounts of stress or sadness. She seems to revert immediately, and becomes a vindictive, cunning, but very sarcastic and hurtful person. After these episodes, she has a tendency to vanish and sleep for a few days, unable to face the consequences of what she said and did. Her apologies are usually large baskets of sweets, and other goodies. She has a hard time saying sorry, because she usually breaks down crying during it. She dislikes crying and showing her weaknesses to others, and also seals them away from anyone.
While she likes having a lot of friends, she rarely gets close enough to them for them to see her other sides. She does have a very broken and shattered side from her past. However, the only people she would really reveal it to would have to be someone she loved. Because of this, the broken part of her, emotionally, hasn't been fixed, and she'd more or less chipping away and bottling her emotions up. This is bad, because when she finally does blow, it'll probably nearly destroy her.

Overall History «
Born Diana Sorrows in New York City, Diana enjoyed the first few months of her life being pampered and adored by all who saw her. She was a pretty little baby. The days flew by as she learned to walk, becoming older. She enjoyed her days in the apartment that Nigel worked hard to provide for them, with mountains of toys. Miranda stayed home full time with her daughter, and soon they were having a blast as she started talking. Everything was alright, and she was just a normal little girl they'd had. She even started out with gymnastics and cheer leading at a young age.
As she grew, Diana's original beauty sort of lapsed out at the ages of fourteen. She ended up quiting cheer leading, but she kept gymnastics. She had a bad time coping with everyone, especially the mean jeers from the boys. She sunk into a state of self-depression, and other bad emotions. She relapsed into being the bad girl, running with the wrong kind of people. It was during this time her then boyfriend, Michael, got into dark magick. Unfortunately, a sort of karma experience happened, and with it, Michael died. Diana was devastated, but it wouldn't end there.
While grounded one night, her mom had run out to get groceries. Five hours later, policemen had knocked on the door. Her distraught father answered. It appeared her mother had died in a freak accident. Convinced it was because of what had happened with Michael, Diana distanced herself for the next few years from everything and everyone. Her dad then began getting into the same things as Michael. No matter what she did, she couldn't stop the repercussions that happened too quick to even spot it.
Nigel ended up dead as well, a particularly powerful warlock happened to get pissed off at him. Now an orphan, she was put into some foster homes until she was old enough to get out of there. As her slayer side was being awakened, she found herself drawn to a certain place. Hyperion Hotel. Maybe there she could find some help, and a place to stay, as she was currently homeless.

Roleplay Example «
Sure, being alone was good enough. It was raining hard on her, and she didn't have an umbrella. For once, not being nice and cheery but cold and miserable, she wanted to say, 'Screw you world!'. However, she was calm for the most part. She'd been searching for this place for hours, but here she was, lost again. In a dark alleyway, nonetheless. This was bound to end up disastrous, but she really had no clue at all. Diana flung her brown bangs from her face, and grumbled to herself. Why did they make places like this so hard to find? Maybe it was just her directions. It probably was, seeing as the guy she had asked had been more preoccupied with her chest than writing down directions. He was a pig.
Sloshing in a puddle, she grumbled, looking around. The city was a gloomy place when it was around midnight and raining, but she thought she could handle herself fairly well. A swift kick between the legs would bring a male opponent down pretty quickly. At least enough time for her to run. She was glad she wasn't wearing heels. Then again, you'd have to be pretty idiotic to wear heels in this kind of weather. Sniffling lightly as her hair was weighed down by the water, she grumbled. Taking her hand, she ran it through her curls, letting water splash over her coat. She was already soaking wet. The water had even penetrated the safety of her warm coat. She was freezing, and in a rather bad mood. She sighed in quiet dismay, shaking her head softly as she wished she had a hood or umbrella.
She glanced at the small paper she cradled close to her, re-reading the directions. She glanced at the nearby street sign. No wonder! She wasn't even on the right street. Running across the road quickly, she managed to find the right street a block down. She was soaked, tired, cold, and wet. She also hoped what she'd heard about this place was correct. If not, there would be hell to pay. Usually she didn't sleep, but right now she needed a very long nap, hopefully undisturbed and noise free, of course. On an after-thought, she wondered how she had missed the place. Soaked, and miserable, she took a step toward her new home...hopefully?
