In fact, she wants nothing to do with other people. Most people have given up on her in her life, and therefore she tends to keep everyone at a distance. Also, she tends to over-work herself.

Lock Box « Secretly, she does care about people. In fact, she cares about everyone; even those who do not deserve it.
Overall Personality « `the L U S T
One of Aurora's features that stand out the most would be her lust, and her greed. But this is not the standard type of lust. This lust is the lust for power, as well as greed for power. Power is something that overwhelms the slayer. It is something that she needs, she has, and she is always wanting more of. Often, it makes her seem reckless and stupid. When in reality, Aurora is actually very smart. Her IQ is over 140, though most people wouldn't think it. People have even ventured to call her out as immature pertaining to her recklessness. She does however portray her intelligence at times. Especially when fighting, though it may seem that she rushes into fights without thinking, actually this is not true. First she will analyze the situation and then she will act upon them.
`the E M O T I O N S; or lack THEREOF.
Blank would be a good adjective to describe Aurora. What happened in her past has damaged her emotionally past repair. She now avoids expressing emotions or even letting anyone know she experiences them. In fact, her mother was the last person to see Aurora express an emotion. This was right before her mother died, about eight years ago. Now she simply uses people for things. Money, posessions, power, etc. Coming off as a cold emotioness bitch, she actually prefers it to be that way. The young slayer sees emotions as a waste of time, saying that they only hold you down. This is seen as a weakness when thinking of social situations. However, when considering being a slayer it is actually an advantage. Though she does experience many emotions, like any other human, she keeps them to herself. Or, on many occasions, she simply ignores them.
`the dark I N S I D E S
Very deep down within Aurora, there is actually a caring person hidden. In fact, a very caring person. Tthough she does not seem like it, she cares for just about everyone. She feels for the innocent and this is why she protects them as a slayer. Most people simply think it is for the power, however she knows the truth. Though she has never truly been in love, she knows that it will eventually happen. However when it does, she plans to simply ignore those feelings. If they are mutual, she will distance herself from the person. It is simply how she is; unable to have any kind of relationship with anyone.

Overall History « April 1st, 1989 was the day that meat-industry worker Jonathon Snow and his wife Mariana welcomed their new baby girl into the world. Big beautiful blue eyes, and dark brown hair closely resembled her mother. Named Aurora after her grandmother, they moved into a small chicago apartment to start off their life as a family. Jonathon worked in a meat packing warehouse, and Aurora's mother, Mariana, worked as a waitress. Growing up Aurora was usually left with their neighbor Kevin and his wife Angela. They were good to Aurora, and were more of parents then her own. At the age of four Aurora began competing on a soccer league. At eight, she was taking karate.
When she turned nine years old she was almost up to black belt status, and practiced everyday. Soccer had been put on a back burner, and at the time she only competed on the school team; no more leagues. Karate and soccer helped her to avoid being home. This meant she wouldn't have to listen to as much fighting, or SEE the fighting between her parents as it often got physical as well as verbal. Her father was arrested twice in the same year. Once for a DUI, and the other for assault and battery. Aurora was eleven years old when her father was released from prison. Her mother had been accepting help from a nice man named Randall, who had been helping pay bills and put food on the table for Mariana and Rora. They weren't in any relationship other then friends, though Randall had admitted to having feelings for her mother.
It was a monday morning when her father had been released. Aurora and her mother hadn't been expecting to see him for another six months, but he had been released for good behavior. Upon his arrival he knocked on the door expecting Aurora or Mariana. Instead, it was Randall who answered. It wasn't long before Randall was lying on the floor unconscious, and her mother and father were screaming profanities at each other. Aurora stayed in her room, afraid and crying. Quietly she snuck out and called 9-1-1, though they didn't arrive in time. Her father had beaten her mother to death right before Aurora's own eyes, on their small kitchen floor. Scared, and scarred for life, she ran outside into the arms of questioning police officers. To this day, her father remains in jail; sentenced to life. Aurora refuses to speak of the event, and dreams of it everyday of her life. Afterwards, she moved in with her neighbors. However the event had left such a permanant influence on Aurora that they eventually kicked her out at the age of sixteen. After this, she began roaming the U.S. fighting and stealing, and doing whatever she could to get by. At the age of seventeen, she met and slayed her first vampire. Ever since, she has been seeking them out and finishing them off.

Roleplay Example «
After her surprise meeting with a strange demon, who seemed to be the new evil they'd been hearing with, Buffy was a little down. All this time she had been feeling a new evil it hadn't really hit her how hard things were going to get again; until now that is. It was going to be like Sunnydale, yet even harder. People she knew and loved would die and possibly even herself. Another apocalypse was coming and her and everyone else could feel it. The whole thought of it was rather depressing.
Still clutching her stake from earlier she walked passed O'Malleys. It was probably the most popular demon hang out in L.A. Most humans who even walked by it let alone went inside were killed. By now people had caught on to stay away from the place. The only human who dared enter was John O'Malley; the owner. The only reason he wasn't killed was because he owned the place and supplied the demons with blood, and various other things they liked to eat and drink.
Now walking past the building she was eyed up by a few demons outside. They looked at her with disgust; as well as fear. None of them bothered to attack her. She wasn't about to attack them either as she knew no matter how good at her job she was, she wasn't going to win. There were too many of them around; probably about fifty or so counting the ones inside the bar. No it would be a foolish attempt and probably cause her final defeat. So instead she simply ignored them and their cat calls, probably just trying to annoy her, and continued walking on.
Now about a block from the pub she heard a shriek of in the distance. A girl, young sounding at that, in an alleyway around fifty yards or so away. Hearing the shriek Buffy immediately picked up her pace into a full out run making it to the alley in less then a minute. Rounding the corner to the very end she saw two large vamps hunched over what appeared to be a teenage girl. The girl screaming bloody murder as the largest one leaned down; fangs glistening about to sink into the girls neck. With this she silently rushed behind them, the vamps probably not even hearing her. Grabbing the largest one by the shoulders she pulled him back tossing him into a dumpster about four feet behind them. Seeing this the other vampire turned around, fangs baring and let out a low growl at her.
"Run." Buffy said looking down to the girl. She was only about sixteen form the looks of it and would probably be traumatized by the experience. As the girl stood up and tried to run the vamp put his arm in front of her stopping her from leaving. Seeing this Buffy sent a kick to his lower groin and then one to his chest so he flung back into the brick wall behind them all. After the girl had ran around the corner and was gone, she turned her eyes back to the vamp that had hit the wall.
"Aww, i'm sorry. Did I interrupt your dinner?" She said to the vamp, punching him twice in the nose as she spoke.
"How rude of me." She then added, landing a right hook to his jaw and smiling as she heard a satisfying crunch noise.
Hearing the vampire stumbling out of the dumpster she kept her awareness of where he stood. While sensing him, she continued with the vampire in front of her. Grabbing him by the neck she pushed him back far enough so that he knocked over his friend. Walking forward at the two vampires on the ground she looked down at them. Holding one down with her foot on his neck, she leaned down and staked the other one.
Next, she put the remainder of her weight onto his neck and then staked him as well. As their ashes blew around her she looked around the alley with a demure look on her face. Some where in the alley she could sense someone walking closer to her; a vampire. It was oddly familiar however she wasn't quite sure whom it was.
